30 Apr Not One but Two Queen’s Awards for Nifty
Nifty is pleased to announce that is has today been named as the winner of both the Queen’s Award for Enterprise – Innovation and the Queen’s Award for Enterprise – International Trade – two of the UK’s highest accolades for business success.
Queen’s Award for Enterprise – Innovation
This award recognises companies that have demonstrated commercial success through innovative products and is given to Nifty for the design, development and manufacture of its 17m Hybrid work platform (HR17 Hybrid 4×4). As one of the world’s first parallel hybrid work platforms this state-of-the-art product combines market leading performance with innovative safety features and an environmentally conscious power plant.
Queen’s Award for Enterprise – International Trade
This award recognises companies that have demonstrated growth in overseas earnings over at least three years and is given to Nifty in recognition of outstanding achievement in export sales, with year on year increases of 106%.
Nifty Ltd was founded by Roger Bowden in 1982 and designs, develops, manufactures and distributes hydraulic work platforms around the world. Today, it has production facilities in Barnsley and Milton Keynes in the UK, and regional sales and service centres worldwide.

Nifty will be presented with the Queen’s Awards by Lord Lieutenant Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher at Nifty’s Head Office in Milton Keynes later in the year.
